Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
On Monday, our 6th graders took their field trip to Stone Lab. Located off of Put-In-Bay, this research facility is an extension of the Ohio State University. All activities are science-based and provide our student's exposure to hands-on learning in a laboratory setting. A very special thank you to the parents who were able to attend and the teachers who planned and made this experience possible for our students.
Please keep our teachers in your prayers as they come together on Friday with other Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Cleveland for a day of professional development. This religious-based retreat day offers our teaching staff a day to reflect on our mission as Catholic school educators.
Enjoy the weekend!
Godspeed,
Mrs. Hibler

Washinton DC Butterbraids Fundraiser
Beginning Wednesday, 10/9, we will start selling Stoller Butterbraids to help our 6th and 7th-grade students earn money toward their 8th-grade field trips to Washington DC. Each 6th and the 7th-grade student will receive an astonishing 40% profit of what they sell to help offset their own trip cost! Profits from items sold by other students in the building will be distributed evenly among the seventh-grade students who sell at least one item. Order forms will be coming home with ALL 6th and 7th graders as well as the youngest and only children in the building.
Endorse all checks to ST. JUDE SCHOOL. We are not able to accept checks written to Stoller Fundraising.
The sale ends on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd. Please collect payment when at the time of the order. Items can be picked up by the seller on Wednesday, November 20th, at St. Jude School from 2:00-4:30 pm.
You can use the following link to order online. Find your child's name and order from there. You can even share the link with friends, family, and co-workers!
Our goal is to earn $5,000--so stock up on items for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners now!

Request for Recycled Materials
We currently have a STREAM class called RECYCLE THE RUNWAY. In this class, students use recycled materials to up-cycle them to create an outfit for a model. We are asking for donations of materials for this class. We want to collect a large variety of items. Some items that we are considering are shower curtains, towels, fabric, old clothing, buttons, safety pins, thread, bottle caps, tissue boxes, string, shoelaces, ribbon, etc. While this is not a complete list, just some suggestions; we are excited to see what is collected!
Please make sure all items are clean so that we can use them for our student models. We are just beginning to work with our student models and would like donated items within the next few weeks. All donations should be sent to room 4B, Mrs. Holly Arra.
