Free eBooks

for Carmel Elementary students

Do you need a quiet summer activity that's educational too?

Are your children starting to get bored this summer? Do they need something to do inside if it's too hot or stormy to play outside? Is the public library too far away or you just don't want to pack everyone up to go there? Why not check out our eBooks? They are available for all Carmel students and families. Right now we have almost 700 books and are adding over 500 more this summer.

Mackinvia.com is the place to go.

Our eBooks are available at mackinvia.com. Login instructions were sent home with students on a bookmark at the end of school and were also listed on the last school newsletter. If you can't find them, email me (see below) and I will send them to you. You can view MackinVIA on your computer or download an app for your device.

Register a backpack

Students can register their own backpack. Once they have a backpack they can save books they want to read, check out books, and make notes.

How to use a backpack - click on the video below.

Tumblebooks - most of these are read aloud to students and have animation.
