Our students are heavily influenced by the role of social media as it affects their social-emotional state and their relationships among peers. I wanted to take this opportunity to share a couple of articles (below) as it relates to this very topic. I encourage you to take some time to read each of these articles and discuss them with your student(s).

If you let us know about an early dismissal, please still call the school 5-10 minutes before your arrival. We will call your student out of class to check-out and keep an eye out for when you pull up. Your student will come outside when they see you.

Winter basketball season will begin on Tuesday, November 15 for both Boys and Girls. Boys in the front gym, girls in the back gym. No practice on Monday, November 14.

Winter cheer will meet in the front gym on Monday, November 14 @ 5. There will be a short parent meeting after practice. The team will cheer at all home basketball games.

Set up for Remind by texting @wpmswrest to 81010 and reply with your name to sign up for updates. This is how information about meetings, snow days, picture days, etc. will be communicated.

You must have a completed VHSL sports physical on file. Turn them into the front office or to Coach Weller or Coach Powers.

Each wrestler will need workout clothes. This should include shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt. Wrestling shoes are preferable, but not required as any athletic shoe will be fine.

It's never too early to start thinking about yearbooks! Beginning in September, the ability to Pre-order will be available. Don't miss out on the fun when they arrive at the end of the year! The cost of the yearbook will be $20.

Online ordering is available again this year (beginning on September 1), but please do note that a credit card processing fee will be added to your order (and will cost you more). You also purchase a yearbook by bringing cash or a check beginning September 6. Yearbooks orders will only be accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the week. No order forms will be sent home. Students will bring their payment to Mrs. Dove in Room 201 and complete an order form at that time.
