NBAPS GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with great pleasure that we announce that plans for the NBAPS Graduation Commencement Ceremony are underway! We are equally excited to announce that our commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 13 at 2 pm in the West Gym of NBAHS!
The changes by the Governor regarding mitigation and safety protocols allow us to host a traditional ceremony!
Specific details regarding when and where to get tickets, parking logistics, and other important details will be forthcoming.
We can’t tell you how thrilled we are to celebrate our Viking Class of 2021 in our time-honored tradition. See you soon!
IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY, PLEASE COMPLETE THE CAP AND GOWN FORM AND PAY THE $30 FEE FOR THE GRADUATION CEREMONY. SEE FORM BELOW
Prom ANNOUNCEMENT

Grand March, West Gym: 4:30-5:30
Arrival at Majestic Oaks: 7:15-7:45 (students will not be allowed in after 7:45)
End time: 11:00
Where: Majestic Oaks Golf Club

Cost: $30 (non refundable)
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased online via Prom Tickets
Who can attend? Juniors and Seniors from NBAPS
Sophomores CAN attend only if they are with a junior or senior
Guests who do not attend NBAPS must complete a Prom Guest Contract prior to June 11. Those contracts should be returned to the high school main office OR Mrs.Twait NO LATER than Wednesday, June 9th.
Seniors' last day is Thursday, June 10th after the graduation ceremony rehearsal and BBQ.
Juniors will be released from school on Friday, June 11, after their 1st block class.
Sophomores who are attending Prom must provide parental permission to the attendance office in order to be excused from school early on Friday, June 11th.

Summer Learning Opportunities

We are excited to have the opportunity to provide extra services for our students and families, especially after a stressful and challenging year.
Senior Picture Announcement
Seniors that want to be included in the NBAHS yearbook have until June 11th to submit photos to Sydney Ryberg. Senior pictures must be in .jpg or .png format. Families may also choose to send in an optional baby photo as well. Make sure you include your full name and phone number in the email if we have any questions.

Grades 6-12 FINISH STRONG
- Contact tech support at 651-674-1097 or email helpdesk@isd138.org for technology support
- Use appropriate study skills i.e. note-taking, ask questions to teachers, collaborate with fellow students
- Create your student-friendly workspace at home
- Contact teachers between 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Teachers are available via Google Meets and by phone to review materials Monday through Friday. If you make an appointment, please make sure you follow through and attend the meeting
- Elective Teachers are available between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM.
- Middle School students- please use your school Gmail account when emailing teachers. Practice using this communication tool
- Use appropriate academic language when communicating with staff
- Advocate for yourself
- Please make sure you know how to perform these tasks; downloading assignments, accessing teacher feedback and comments, and avoid distractions
- Utilizing Google Docs for essay responses and copy and paste from Google Doc into Edmentum
- Important: A student will generally spend between 30-40 hours in a course per trimester. So, students typically spend between 4-6 hours per day in their studies. The is a generalization that gives you something to aim for.
