Business Investment Competition WINNERS!

Congratulations going out to:

These young men competed over the last three months against other school in the province in the University of Lethbridge Dhillion school of Business Investment Competition. The competition revolved around three rounds of different investment activities, The boys crushed the opposition in all three activities to take home the crown!!!!

Well done gents and CONGRATULATIONS!!


We will be running some drop in volleyball and a Spring Football Camp - depending on the Government of Alberta and AHS guidelines. NOTHING HAS BEEN PLANNED YET as we wait for the guidelines - but we are looking at starting after June 15th. Connect with Mr. Rattan for more information!

ND's Got Talent!

Congratulations to Grace Lemus who won the Golden Buzzer! She will automatically move on to the Finals on June 16th.

Proposed Japan Exchange Trip in 2022

There will be a virtual information meeting for students and parents on June 17th at 7:00 pm for any students interested in a proposed exchange trip to Japan next year. Students form Yamate Gakuin School in Yokohama will visit in April 2022 and Notre Dame students will travel to Japan in July 2022.

Learning Commons: It's Almost Textbook Return Time

With the last day of classes coming up fast, Ms. Dinan highly recommends returning any books/materials you are no longer using as soon as you are done with them. You do not need to wait to return all your books at the same time. If you aren't sure what you have checked out, please pop by the textbook window and the Ms. Dinan can provide you with a list. Thank you in advance!

The formal Textbook Return period will be Monday, June 14th - Wednesday, June 23rd. Students are welcome to drop off items they are no longer using before this period.

**Students must have their student ID with them in order to claim their deposit refund.

School Bus Registration

School bus registration is now open for the 2021-2022 school year. Parents/guardians need to register their child(ren) to access this service prior to Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Click here to register.

Late registrations for bus service will be processed as best we can. There will be a $50 late fee per student and service may be delayed. Families who do not qualify for free transportation and wish to access busing, payment arrangements can be made at the school.

Grade 12s: My Pass Accounts

Grade 12s - Have you set up your myPass account yet? It is important for all high school students to have a myPass account prior to graduation. myPass is used to order your Alberta High School Transcripts, to view Diplomas and much more.

If you are in grade 12 and have NOT yet set up your account, please reach out to Mrs. Wilkins ( in the office or to Mr. Deschenes ( to help you.

Note: It is VERY IMPORTANT that you use a PERSONAL email for myPass. After June, your rdcrs student account will not longer be active for graduates. Using a personal email ensures you will continue to have access to key information moving forward.

U of A Student Loans 101 Workshops

The U of A will be hosting Student Loans 101 sessions over the summer where expert loan advisors will walk students through the loan application process and help them submit their application. Piper Creek Optimist Club of Red Deer's Scholarship For Young Volunteers Young Leader Award

Are you a student in Red Deer looking for a scholarship or bursary to help with your education? The Piper Creek Optimist Club of Red Deer is pleased to introduce the Young Leader Award, aimed at recognizing and rewarding young adults in Red Deer who are engaged in their community. The Young Leader Award will award a $1,000 bursary towards a post-secondary or furthering education program to one eligible Red Deer Student. The successful recipient is someone who is graduating in 2021, displays an aptitude for volunteering/giving back, and has a desire to be a community leader.
