This Week in Language Arts:
This week we will be wrapping up our viewing of To Kill A Mockingbird and The Watson's Go To Birmingham. We will be discussing some of the similarities, as well as the differences, between the novels and the screenplay versions.
We will then be taking a closer look at the evolution of the Space Program, as all of the content areas delve into our PBL unit on Rocketry.
Just a quick reminder that this quarter students have been asked to complete a "Triple Play". Three books of their choice: one must fall in the upper end of their personal Lexile range, one should be STEM related, and the last is completely their choice. Books 2 and 3 will both be due by Thursday, May 3rd.
These must be completed between March 22-May 3rd to be eligible to enter in a special drawing. Prizes include Visa cards, Book Fair gift certificates, and more. The remaining two books need to be completed by May 3rd. Remember... Students who READ SUCCEED!
There is NO TweenTribune homework this week.
