Westridge Wildcat News
SPECIAL EDITION, MARCH 19th, 2020
As you know, the Governor closed Oregon schools through April 28. There are many changes that come with the closures that impact our students, athletes, families, and staff. I just wanted to reach out and connect with you. We miss our students and our families. Principals and district administration are working remotely and using social distancing to plan for additional virtual learning alternatives. Until then, please use the Remote Learning Activities posted on the district’s website at https://www.losdschools.org/Page/7612. There are 10 days of supplemental activities that will help your children stay busy.
If there is something critical that your child has left at school (such as medication or a musical instrument), please let me know and we can schedule an appointment for you to pick it up. Taking medication from school will require a parent to sign it out.
Hunger Fighters operates out of the house that is green, located behind the Lake Oswego High School campus, 2301 Hazel Rd., Lake Oswego, OR 97035. The pantry will be open to families every Saturday, between 1-3 p.m., even during the school closure.
All main communication will continue to come directly from Mary Kay Larson on behalf of Dr. de la Cruz, sent to all LOSD families and staff (common messaging).
We hope you are safe. Our thoughts are with those impacted by Covid-19. We’re hoping that these steps will help contain the virus and will keep many people safe. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
