First Grade Music Program: Frosty Weather!
Davis first grade students will be singing in their music program next Thursday evening, January 26th. Parents should have received these instructions from their classroom teachers for the event:
Peace Week January 23-27
The Lincoln Leopards and The Davis Tigers are PAW-sitively peaceful problem solvers! Davis Primary School and Lincoln Elementary School are partnering together to celebrate peace and focus on peaceful problem solving the week of January 23rd. Monday through Thursday we have guided lessons from the Davis and Lincoln social workers reviewing the steps of peaceful problem solving. Friday will culminate with a “Wear Blue” spirit day and morning craft to celebrate everything they have learned. We are SO excited to show our students that being PAW-sitively peaceful happens everywhere in our district!
Morning Drop Off Reminder
Please be sure to drop off your students before 8:00 a.m. to door 10 and door 21. When the school bell rings at 8:00, the teachers supervising those doors need to leave to attend their classes. Those doors will then be locked. If you arrive at 8:00 or later, please go to the office and sign in your child.
Watch DOGS Needed
When your child is bored it can be a good thing.

Empower News
3rd and 4th Grade Empower classes have begun our Build It! module. We are in need of various items that we can build with. These items include, but are not limited to, large cardboard boxes, tissue boxes, empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls, cereal boxes and any other interesting recyclables that you think we may be able to use. If you have anything to donate please send it to school with students or drop things at Richmond. Items can be left in the Empower room. Please no styrofoam.
Our 5th grade students have been working on our FLEX (Foreign Language Exploration) module. For this module we would love donations relating to different languages and cultures around the world. Please include a description of the item along with the language, culture and/or country it is related to.
