April 2018

Notes from the Principal

This school year is quickly winding down. Make sure you closely check the calendar as we are headed into our state assessment season, lots of field trips and school activities happening in the next two months. We are very proud of how hard our students are working in the classrooms and look forward to finishing the year strong.
Big picture

One School One Book

We are so excited to kick off our One School One Book campaign. We are asking everyone including our staff to read the same book each day. Students will bring home a copy of the book to keep along with information on which pages to read each day. We will have trivia questions and campus discussion regarding readings. Join us as we work to make reading fun!

Dress Code Reminders

As we head into the warmer months a couple reminders about school dress code:

*All shoes must have backs

*Shorts/Skirts/Dresses no shorter than 4" above the knee

*Male students may not have carvings in hair, no mohawks or faux hawks allowed

*Sleeves must be three to four inches wide

*Tights and leggings must be worn with a long shirt that covers the behind

See pg. 48 of the student handbook for additional information
