Relationship Advice
By: Allison Churchill Mrs. Harrold's 5th period
History:
When I was in the first grade, my neighbor was in kindergarden. She was having some drama with one of her classmates. She had told me all about it that morning while we were on the bus. So when we got to school I went to their waiting area and talked to them about whatever their problem was. After lots of going back and forth of their sides of things, they were bestfriends again. That same year I was having my own drama with one of the girls in my grade. After lots of thinking about how I could fix things with her I told myself why not do the same thing I did with Faith, my neighbor in kindergarden.
Friend Advice:
When one of my bestfriends was having issues with his girlfriend, I started to help him work things out until they were all okay. I think out of my group of friends I am the one that they would come to for advice. Just like how I go to one of my friends when I need to be cheered up she will always put a smile on my face. After I was constantly having my friends coming to me for some advice or help, I started being closer to my friends. They had more respect and trust and our bond got bigger.
More of my Experinces:
When I am at church I’m always talking to my friends about our friendship and how we can make it better. And I talk to my parents about our relationship and our differences. But at school I’m always the one that is helping out my close friends with their relationship with their boy/girl friend. While I was babysitting this past summer I was teaching my cousins on how to be better siblings towards each other so when they get older they would have a good relationship with each other and with their parents.
Present Day
Right now everything is very dramatic. Only because my friends are going through alot of bumps on the road since they are maturing, and since we are teenagers. However since I know my friends very well its easy to help them out with things. I like being there for my friends. Life has its ups and downs and I am willing to always be there for my friends.
