Tiger Lillies Public Garden Build Up!
This garden is available to all families to have a fun day out for a picnic, a fun outing or even a parents' date day in a relaxing setting. Please feel free to come at any time with your scholar and donate a few minutes to weeding and pruning spent flowers.
Our Garden Club will be making a sign for this location to tell everyone that the Tiger Lillies are in full effect!!! The Sherwood Gardens Association is really excited that we are participating in this way this year, we may be setting a precedent for other city school involvement for the future! Let's show up and do this right!!! (If you would like to make a donation of any annual flowers, please feel free to do so! The Garden Bed is pretty big, I'd like to make a good showing for our school.
Thank you in advance for your help, please RSVP if you can make it so I know how many tools to bring with me! Staff, extended family- you are invited, too!!!

A few more words to end the year...
Each one of us, whether adults or scholars, parents or volunteers, contributed so much to our school over this past year. Speaking as an administrator, I have learned so much about myself through your scholars and our interactions, I am truly grateful. I am so excited to come back with an attitude of taking charge for next year when we will have 100 new scholars in the building!
As you take time to reflect with your scholar about their year and the challenges and growth that they have met and how they handled certain situations they felt insurmountable, be sure you take them back to the beginning of the year when they were that uncertain girl who is blossoming into a YOUNG WOMAN. A young woman ready to make an impact on her community through active citizen leadership!
As a disclaimer, if you feel that LMCJS is not the right fit for your scholar, please send a courtesy email to me (Mrs. Sparkman). In this email, please provide brief insight into this decision. This will allow us to know if we can pull some girls from our waiting list for next year.
