District 2017-18 Calendar Survey - closes today @5:00

Members of the Mansfield ISD calendar committee recently conducted a calendar feedback survey to help structure the 2017-18 district calendar.

Based upon the feedback, two calendars have been created using the following criteria:

  • Students start the same week as in 2016-17 or three days earlier.
  • Teachers start one week earlier than in 2016-17.
  • Teachers and students end the school year one week earlier.
  • Students have two fewer school days.
  • Teachers work the same number of days.
  • Teachers have an additional teacher workday in August.
  • Average days of the semesters are more even than in 2016-17.

The district is now seeking feedback to determine which option will be best for MISD students, staff and the community.

Select the option you like best by completing the survey here. The survey will close on Friday, Jan. 20 at 5 p.m.
