Waukesha Sings!
We would like to invite any interested 4th, and 5th grade School District of Waukesha students to participate in Waukesha Sings! Beginning at 12:30 on Saturday, March 16th, participants will combine with singers from across the entire school district for a large group choral experience. This action-packed day of rehearsals, singing, and team building will culminate in a concert at 5:30 pm directed by Rachel Maki. Students are required to be at Waukesha Sings from 12:30 through the 5:30 concert. Registration begins on Monday, January 22nd at 8:00 am. Please be aware that this is a very popular event and last year’s registration filled up within 24 hours. If you plan to register your child on January 22nd, please ensure that you do not have any conflicts on Saturday, March 16th and that you understand your child will be at South High School from 12:30-6:00 pm on that day. 4th and 5th Grade Concert - Save the Date!
4th and 5th grade families - Please save the day for the 4th and 5th grade concert on Thursday, February 29th. There will be a school day dress rehearsal at 9:15 and an evening concert at 6:00 pm. More information about the concert will be coming home soon!

1-2-3-4 We declare a Penny War!
Have some spare change laying around? Use it to help Hillcrest make some playground updates!
We will be hosting a Penny War January 29th- February 2nd. Pennies and dollars will earn points for your team. Silver coins, like nickels, dimes, and quarters will subtract points from your opponents. Keep an eye on our Hillcrest PTO facebook page for daily updates to see the standings! We have a goal of $2000
WEEK OF GRATITUDE-A Celebration of our Hillcrest Community is just around the corner March 4-8th. While our PTO is hard at work planning, we need some help from parents and families. Each classroom will offer a themed basket to be raffled off at our Spaghetti dinner on March 8th ending our week of celebration. This night is full of fun, games, food, raffles and auctions and above all
community. We need your generous donations to fill our classroom baskets! Please consider if you are able to donate items by March 1st that go with the theme for your grade level and send into school with your child or drop off. Below are the following themed classroom baskets by grade level.
4K and Kindergarten: Let your Imagination Run Wild (ex. Arts and Crafts, Gift cards to Art stores)
1st Grade: Toy Box (ex. Legos, Barbies, Pokemon, American Girl)
2nd Grade: Gift Card Galore (ex. Gift cards for iTunes, Starbucks, Target)
3rd Grade: Rainy Days Just Got Better (Movies, Puzzles, Board Games, Blankets)
4th Grade: Family fun in the Outdoors (Beach, Camping, Fishing, Frisbees, Kites)
5th Grade: All Things Wisconsin Sports Teams (Brewers, Badgers, Admirals, Wave, Packers, Bucks)
