Teacher Appreciation Week

May 6-10, 2019

Thank you...

I want to kick off this special week of appreciation with a huge "thank you" for all you do on behalf of our students. I think it is critically important that you know that I view our entire staff as "teachers" in their own right and their own way. Each staff member in our schools is an integral part of our student learning experiences and the implementation of Global Outcomes. Together, we are molding and shaping the young minds of the future. Remember, it takes a village.

What makes you exceptional...

We have an unbelievable staff at EPSD. You work tirelessly on behalf of our students and serve such an important role in the lives of so many. Your impact is profound and reaches to places and depths that, in many cases, you will never see or realize. The lives you touch and the service you provide are unspeakable.

Wherever I go, I hear the praises and compliments about how many great things are happening in our district. The learning experiences are rich and full of compassion, empathy, kindness and care. The dedication you give to our district shows and your unwavering focus on improving the experiences, global outcomes, and opportunities for students is motivating and inspiring.

As you embark on these final weeks of this school year; learning, growing, developing, teaching and guiding, please know how incredibly fortunate we all are to be able to call you colleague, teacher, educator, mentor, collaborator, contributor, friend.

We are lucky to have the wonderful staff we have that puts the student experience first and creates new and innovative ways to reach our kids, to show them that we value them at the center of learning. I am proud of all of you, and this week, and every week, I celebrate you and your contribution to this district. I am glad to have you all as part of my team.

Have a great week and know how much we appreciate ALL of the "teachers" at Estes Park School District! You are making a difference, and we couldn't do it without you!

With Gratitude,
