Agenda
8:00-9:00 Informational Session: In's and Out's of Starting a College/Career Ministry
We are S.A.L.T.!
Surrendered Apostolics Living Truth (S.A.L.T.) was established to give apostolic/pentecostal college students a supporting student organization on Texas A&M University campus. S.A.L.T. initially formed as a group of friends and college students attending Victory United Pentecostal Church. What began as a group of six students attending church and hanging out on campus quickly turned into a family away from home. With the motivation to have an enduring impact on campus, Pastor Keith Castleberry worked with those few students to form an officially recognized student led apostolic organization. More than seven years later, S.A.L.T. has grown, continues to spread the gospel in Bryan/ College Station, and serves as a support group for apostolic college students and singles.
S.A.L.T. remains a recognized student organization of Texas A&M University. With this status, we are able to effectively market on campus. Through student-led weekly bible studies at our campus meetings, biweekly meetings at Victory Church and prayer meetings, we continue to see a miraculous work of God at Texas A&M University and the surrounding community. Our greatest desire is to gain a deeper spiritual relationship with Jesus and see a revival on the campuses of Blinn College and Texas A&M University.
And now we want to share all we have learned in these past seven years about college and career ministry, so that you too can minister to those who desperately need it in your city!
