The LMC is a POPULAR Place!
From September through December,
319 classes visited the LMC including Ag, Business, ELA, Science, SS, and Tech.
902 items were loaned, including books, USB drives, MP3 players, and audio books.
16 students took (and passed!) their Driver's Permit test!
We Celebrated Banned Books Week...
...by displaying books that have been challenged and/or banned in other libraries around the country. Thankfully, we have the 'freadom' to choose our own reading materials. Banned Books Week is celebrated in September.
When It's Cold Outside...
...warm up with a good book! And we have several new titles to choose from thanks to our earnings from the Scholastic Book Fair held in December.
Student Artwork...
...is proudly displayed in the LMC. The money banks were created by students in Ms. Dupuis' Art 8 classes, while the art pieces in the back row were created by Ms. Meyer's Advanced Studio students. Stop in and see ALL of the students custom creations!

Bound-For-College Guidebook by Frank Burtnett
The Bound for College Guidebook offers information about the school-to-college transition in a complete, organized, and reader-friendly approach not found in any other college admissions guide. Burtnett has assembled frequently asked questions and their answers from school counselors who understand what students need to know during the exploration, decision-making, and application process between high school and college. Armed with this guide, the college-bound student is better able to navigate the school-to-college transition.
Slow Getting Up: A Story of NFL Survival by Nate Jackson

Student Tech Questions Answered...
While writing up a science lab in Microsoft Word 2013, a student needed to create a small (subscript) number 2 to accurately represent water as H2O. The subscript 'button' is available under 'font' options. See photo at right for a visual.
