Book Fair This Week

BHE Wins Mayes County Superhero Blood Drive
Bernita Hughes Elementary received a $250 check for being one of the winning schools in the Mayes County Superhero Blood Drive. Red Crown representative Jeremy Daggs and Our Blood Institute representative Jade Brown delivered the winning check. Thank you for supporting BHE!

Choir Excel in District Solo & Ensemble
Eleven Adair Warrior Vocal Music Students recently participated in the District Solo & Ensemble contest at Pryor High School, in Pryor, OK. Four students earned Superior ratings, and gold medals for their solo performances. Five students earned excellent ratings for their solo & ensemble performances. Two students earned a good rating for their ensemble performance.
Students who earned superior ratings are Brylee Culp- 12th grade, Hope McDowell-10th grade, Ava McSlarrow-9th grade, and Sara Kirk-8th grade. Students who earned Excellent ratings are Alexander Sampsel-Foreman-10th grade, Cheyenne PeQueen-10th grade, Cheyenne PeQueen-10th grade, Trinity Sinks-9th grade, River Andrews-8th grade, and Trenton Ramsey-7th grade. Students who earned Good ratings are Seniors Lilith Breaeale & Malachi McDaniel.
“The judge for our soloists was very complimentary of our students' preparation and performance of the solos and ensembles and offered some good critique,” said Adair Vocal Music Director Tom Teel. “We are also fortunate to have a very capable pianist, Amy Moeller who accompanies our students at competitions, and other performances.”
High School Band Receives a Superior 1 Rating at Clarmore
Winterguard 2nd at Catoosa
Congratulations to the Adair High School winterguard. They went to Catoosa this past Saturday and competed against 12 other groups in their class. The Warriors came in second place beating some 4A and 5A high schools!
Their next performance will be at Union High School this Saturday.
BHE Stars of Honor
Stars of Honor was this past Saturday in Norman. Some of our students got to experience a women's basketball game and were honored with a Stars of Honor certificate. Way to represent Adair Students!
BHE Warrior Way Winners
Warrior Way winners for last week in the elementary were 1st grade Klaire Ridley, Acelynn Hicks. Pre-K was Caelee Allen, 3rd grade was Jase Rosebrough, and 5th grade was Moses Lian. 2nd grade was Lakelann Earp and 4th grade was Lane Swift. Congratulations.

Child Find Information
Child Find is a search for all children with disabilities who are not receiving a free, appropriate, public education. This applies to children between the ages of birth and twenty-one years of age, who have not yet graduated from high school. Adair Public Schools offers full educational opportunities for all students.

SPED Records Information
Records for inactive special education students who attended or graduated from Adair Public Schools with a DOB of 1999 or older will be destroyed on Monday, January 30, 2023.
