Telephonic counseling is an excellent way to receive professional and convenient care without having to travel outside the comfort of your own home. If face-to-face counseling is not for you, Triad EAP’s telephonic counseling line is here to help. Download the flyer below.

Encourage Nurture Challenge Field Days needs volunteers

The 4th Annual Encourage~ Nurture ~Challenge Field Day on MAY 9th. The ENC Field Day is a day for students with disabilities to discover new experiences, learn new skills, and celebrate their own successes (similar to a Special Olympics). Our hope is to provide a safe environment for students to step out and have the courage and confidence to try something that they may not try in other settings. The ENC Field Day will provide opportunities for these incredible kids (from Basalt to Parachute) to participate in track and field events with other students at the same ability level. Students will have the opportunity to run, throw, jump, make new friends, and have an all-around joyful time.

We need volunteers for the ENC Field Day. What you will get from volunteering:

  • A free shirt
  • One of the best days of your teaching career
  • A chance to see kids have the courage and confidence to participate in something they may have never tried before
  • A chance to yell and scream (and maybe cry) with staff and students
  • An all around great, fun, incredible, exciting, awesome day!

We will have an informational meeting on May 7th from 3:30-5:00 (video conferencing in will be an option) (location TBD) to assign positions, understand the rules, pass out shirts and pass out schedules. Please feel free to contact Kristy Slife 970.948.1398 with any questions.
THANK YOU

If you are interested in helping out please fill out the attached ENC Helper google form. Please pass this on to any support staff that I may not have included. THANK YOU
