New Newsletter Takes Flight

How much time did you spend wondering what really is black and white and read all over? Now you know. We are excited to launch "News from the Nest", a weekly eblast that gives you the latest and greatest information about what's happening at Evansdale. This is a collaborative effort between the school, PTA, School Council, and the Foundation that we hope you will find both informational and entertaining.

A Letter from Mrs. Wright, Assistant Principal

Dear Evansdale Community,

It is with great excitement and also sadness to share that I have accepted another position for the 2016-17 school year.

My husband and I have been exploring job opportunities in the international school community. It has been something we have both always wanted to do professionally and now with our two daughters.

My new role will be serving as the Deputy Director of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at the American School of Guatemala. I am looking forward to the challenge of this different role while being immersed in a new culture, country, and having the opportunity to learn Spanish. My husband will also be working at the school. As parents, we are very excited about our daughters having the opportunity to attend a bilingual school. I have been inspired by watching our teachers and students here at Evansdale in the French Immersion program.

With this exciting change, I am going to miss Evansdale tremendously. I have felt lucky to have this opportunity to work with such a caring, dedicated, and talented group of educators. I have loved getting to know our wonderful students and families. I will miss all of the smiles and daily hugs from the children. It has been an honor to serve this community. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Stacey Wright

Weaving the WEB(site)

We are in the process of updating the school's website to make it more user friendly. The staff emails are all in and correct, so if you need to reach a teacher, emailing is the best way. The calendar is also current, so you will be able to keep up with the crazy days of May. We will keep you posted on the progress and thank you for your patience in the mean time.
