PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Tuesday, May 24, 2022
Dear SFX Family,
Wow! I cannot believe that I am writing the last Jaguar Journal of this school year! Thank you for your support and cooperation this school year as we worked together in the formation of these amazing young people. It is truly a pleasure to come to work each day! I will miss the sounds in the hallways and sweet faces over the summer, and look forward to an amazing new year in August. But first, we have a couple of more days together.
We invite you to our closing programs if you are able to come!
Wednesday, May 25:
- PK2 End of the Year Tea: 2:00 PM in the classroom
- PK3 End of the Year Tea: 2:00 PM in the cafeteria
- PK4 Closing Program: 9:00 AM in St. Joseph Hall with a brief reception to follow in the cafeteria
- Kindergarten Closing Program: 10:00 AM in the church with a brief reception to follow in the Mansfield Auditorium
Thursday, May 26:
- 1st-6th Closing Mass & Awards: 9:00 AM in the church
- 11:30 Dismissal & No After School Care
Don't forget: Wednesday is the last day of After School Care, and Thursday is 11:30 AM Dismissal with no After School Care.
Also, Summer Cabbage Ball sign-up has been extended to TOMORROW, May 25th. You can do so here. Lastly, I hope you can make it to Mark Twain's Pizza either tomorrow or Thursday for SFX Night. 15% of all sales will go to the school!
I hope you have a great rest of the week.
May God bless you and keep you,
Jessica
Jessica A. Dwyer, M.Ed.
Principal
P.S. Have you been receiving the Parent Alert texts from school this year? If not, be sure to text "START" to 22383! We send text messages with important reminders or urgent information.
We are once again using School Tool Box for our school supplies. As stated last year and at the Home & School meeting earlier this month, all students must order the school supplies through School Tool Box. This ensures that everyone has the same supplies waiting for them on the first day of school. All orders must be placed by June 19, 2022 avoid a late fee and guarantee on-time delivery. Place your orders here!
FR. JOE'S TUESDAY UPDATE
SFX School Community,
I echo our Principal's remarks in saying it is hard to believe that we are in the final days of the school year. A year which began with tight Covid measures and a nasty hurricane seems to be ending on a quiet note -- thank you, Lord.
Below is today's Email Update. We have the Sharing Program Luncheon for Seniors today and School-Closing Activities this week, including the Athletic Awards Banquet on Thursday evening.
Summer Camp and Summer Cabbage Ball are right around the corner. We also have an International Food Fest on June 4 and a Cemetery Fun Run on June 5 that may be of interest to your family.
Have a blessed week. Fr. Andrew and I wish each of you and your families a safe, blessed and restorative summer.
Father Joe
