Car Rider Line
- Please pay attention to the staff member directing traffic. The season is changing and it is still dark during morning arrival, please drive slow and be aware of the person standing in the line directing traffic.
- Only allow students out of the car when you are in the inner lane.
- In the morning and afternoon please drive all the way up the next available space before allowing your student to load or unload.
- In the afternoon please remind students that they are to wait on the yellow line and not underneath the awning, unless it is raining. Students will be given another reminder about waiting at the yellow line. Starting next week, if students do not follow this expectation they will be assigned silent lunch.
We appreciate you adhering to these reminders, your cooperation helps us to have a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal.

Service Road Closure
Virtual Mooresville Middle School
Next week, students will have an asynchronous day on Wednesday, September 15th. Students need to log into each of their classes and complete the work given to them by their teachers.
On Friday, September 17th VMMS materials can be picked up in the front office. We ask that someone picks up the materials for the students between 9 am and 1 pm.
Our students have been working very hard in VMMS. We do want to recognize two students who always show the Heart of a Red Imp and go above and beyond. Our students of the week for September 6 -10 are
7th Grade: Nikolas W.
8th Grade: Yaliz M.
MMS PTSO
Please be on the lookout for a sign up genius. MMS PTSO is sponsoring a "Stock the Teacher's Lounge" event and will be asking for donations from parents. More information to come.
The next PTSO meeting is scheduled for October 6th at 8am, we will meet virtually.
MAWI Lessons
During one class session the week of September 13th, the MMS ELA department will facilitate the following MAWI lessons:
7th Grade: MAWI Lesson #3- Hit your Turbo
8th Grade: MAWI Lesson #3-What is the Conflict
MMS is using the MAWI program to facilitate social and emotional lessons that are designed to help students build life-long coping skills.
