Fox Family Focus

Week of November 28, 2021

Greetings Fox Families!

This is Anita Roane, your principal with this week’s announcements and reminders.

I hope you had a wonderful fall break with your family and friends. As we return to school tomorrow please remember to perform the home health screenings. If your student is symptomatic please keep them at home. Your student should not return to school until 72 hours have passed since the recovery of their symptoms. Thanks for helping to keep our fox family safe and healthy!

Our faculty and staff are participating in “December to Remember”. Some of the days have special attire associated with them. If you want your child to participate in any of the optional dress-up days you are welcome to do so. We recognize it may be a lot to keep up with so feel free to do as much or as little as you wish.

I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Bevins, the parent of one of our 4th-grade students for building our students a special addition to our playground where students can play and practice eye-hand coordination. It’s bright and colorful and the students will enjoy it. Thank you so much Mr. Bevins!

Thank you Mr. Bevins!

ESL Collaboration with 2nd Grade.

The second -grade students enjoyed hearing about the puppeteer of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade by listening to the story Balloons Over Broadway. The story tells about the person who came up with the idea of having balloon puppets in the Thanksgiving Day parade and how he came up with the idea. The students designed their own balloons.
