CHS9 Staff Bulletin 12-6-19
"Everyone. Everyday. Whatever it takes."
Gorka's Gab
Great job Ms. Rodriguez and the entire staff on facilitating the English I benchmark this week! It was great opportunity for our students to experience the feel of the STAAR and it will provide valuable data for our teachers to use in closing student's gaps and strengthening their skills!
If you have not yet signed up for the cook-off please do! It is always fun to taste the multiple recipes. I have new recipe I am using this year and my taste buds tell me it is a winner!
Tuesday is "Santa Day" so we have decided to take our staff Christmas card picture after school that day. I have always gotten a $1 Santa hat from Walmart but this year I might try to invest in one a little bit nicer. I hope you join in on the fun!
Below I have included our district newsletter and also a have shared an article that was shared with me. It is a must read!
Thank you all for all you do everyday to support our students and one another! I hope you have wonderful weekend!

Tracking sheets were handed out this week and will be collected when we return in January. Remember, you only need to track twice a week.
RtI: The RtI Student Support Team is getting ready for their semester decision point meeting. This is the meeting during which change of placement will be decided by committee members. Students will be referred for exit in their current RtI placement or discussed for possible placement in an intervention class in the spring. Committee members will be discussing this with their team members and bringing names of students to the meeting for discussion. Letters will be mailed to parents in January regarding current placement in RtI, intervention plans and goals. New intervention teacher rosters will be distributed to teams and teachers in January.
The RtI Student Support Team wishes everyone a wonderful holiday and winter break.
