The History
The early stage coach was a horse drawn vehicle that was used to carry passengers and mail on a normal route. The fitst stagecoach line was established in London, England but didn't make it to america for about 200 years. There were stagecoach stations set up every 15-20 miles to switch out the horses.

The stage coach was originally invented by John Darlwin in 1763. Later there was more improvements.
Advantages
The stage coach made mail travel faster and also some goods. The faster the mail got sent, the faster the people would have time to prepare or be aware of this event so that they could spread the news.
Disadvantages
The stage coach was a very annoying vehicle and could ne heard from miles away. The noise was heard for many hours a day by the people around.

The stage coach was widely spread throughout the us, therefor it eventually came to North Dakota. They used the stage coach for transporting things such as people, goods, mail, and many others
