5. Coalition of Involved African American Parents (CIAAP)- The CIAAP's goal is to help parents support African American students in order to be successful in school and the community. The CIAAP meets monthly, and is open to all parents. If you would like to attend as a Robinson representative, please contact me at smadrigal@lbschools.net. For more details and meeting information, see the link: https://sites.google.com/lbschools.net/voicesoflbusd/black-history/community-resources?authuser=0

A Note from Ms. Baker

In the words of Amanda Gorman,

"We are striving to forge a union with purpose,
to compose a country committed to all cultures,

colors, characters and conditions of man.
And so we lift our gazes not to what stands between us,
but what stands before us.
We close the divide because we know, to put our future first,
we must first put our differences aside.
We lay down our arms
so we can reach out our arms
to one another.
We seek harm to none and harmony for all."

It's Time to Celebrate!
