Updated Attendance Policy
District has adjusted our attendance policy. Please see the updates below.
Participation in live sessions is strongly encouraged for the select classes that go live. Students are also required to watch the recorded videos that their teachers post. Students are strongly encouraged to follow the daily schedule, but they can access content all day long. For your student to be counted present in each class, he or she must log in to each class on Schoology by 11:59pm each day. Attendance will be taken the next day for the previous day. (For example, a student will be marked as "present" on Tuesday if their work from Monday is completed)
Failure to log in to each class by 11:59 pm each day will result in your student being counted absent. According to Arkansas State Law, 8 absences in one semester is considered truancy.
If your student is still having issues connecting to Schoology, please contact the school immediately so that these issues can be resolved, and your student can get connected with his or her classes.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Spirit Fridays!
We will start Friday Spirit Days this Friday, September 18, 2020 through the end of the first semester. The following applies to Friday Spirit Days:

COVID-19 Protocol and point of contact
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have any symptoms, do not come to a school campus.
In an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus within our staff and student body we are asking all parents/guardians of students who will be in attendance on-site and all employees to notify the school or our designated Point of Contact, Ms. Blair, (blair@lisaacademy.org) with any COVID-related concerns. Virtual Home Visits
Dear Parents/Guardians,
It is very important to us that we find ways to communicate with each other to support your involvement in your child’s education. This year we are organizing virtual home visits as a way to reach out to families and get to know them better.
We would like to set up a time to visit via Google Meet or Zoom video call in hopes to learn more about you, your family and your plan for your child’s education.
