Jim's Early life
James Maury Henson was born on September 24, 1936 in Greenville, Mississippi. Early television intriged him. For college, he went to the University of Maryland.
Impact
As you may know, Jim created the Muppets. Some of the best known are Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and The Great Gonzo. their firs apperance was in Sam and Friends, a Washington D.C. program.
