MESSAGE FROM DR. CHURCH

Dear Parents,

Last week you received communication from the school district regarding the return of volunteers helping out inside the school (click here to read it). We are excited to welcome another step getting closer to normalcy. With that in mind there are some things you will need to be prepared for should you have the time and energy to volunteer during the student day. The usual expectations are still in place and you can begin that process by following this link.

As we return, there are a few limitations at Totem Falls I’d like to highlight. We will only have one volunteer per classroom a day. Teachers will provide their preference for days and times to the office and we will organize a sign-up page for you to be able to sign up. I will be sending a message to you when we have this setup and ready for launch. I do know it won't be on December 6th, but close as possible to that date. You will also need to share your COVID-19 vaccination card when volunteering for our records.

I will also be hosting an orientation for volunteers to go over the safety guidelines and visitation protocols in place. This is a requirement for volunteering, so I hope you can make one of these zoom meetings work in your schedule. I will be hosting more as parents reach out wishing to volunteer in the new year. Orientation times are:

Wednesday, December 8th at 10:00 AM

Thursday, December 9th at 5:00 PM

Zoom meeting ID for both meetings: 984 6850 4087

Password: Volunteer

I look forward to seeing you in the courtyard soon!

Sincerely,

Craig

EXTRA CLOTHES?

Has your child grown out of their elastic waisted pants? The health room could use extra elastic waisted pants. These come in handy with the rainy recesses we are having. Thank you.
