FEBRUARY 1, 2023 - NEWSLETTER
Hello Northpoint Families,
We are excited for this coming Friday when we will travel to the Spring Lake Park High School Fine Arts Center for the finals of Northpoint’s Got Talent! Thanks to all staff, families and performers for help coordinating all that goes into this event. A special thanks to our PTO for funding the buses and to the music directors and their students at the high school for taking time to perform for us!
Please be on the lookout for communication from our classroom teachers, academic specialists, and special education teachers regarding signing up for conferences during the month of February. We look forward to our continued partnerships with families and to share your student’s learner profiles and maps. Also in February, please remember there is no school for students on February 16, 17, and 20.
Finally, a reminder for fourth grade families of the in-person event at Westwood tomorrow, Thursday. The Westwood team looks forward to meeting 4th graders and their families as we prepare for next year. See below for the specific details.
Stay warm!

Arrival/Dismissal Carline Reminders
The safety of our students and families is of utmost importance while our students are dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. Please help us by observing the following guidelines:
- Follow the flow of traffic and do not pass other cars to move to the front of the line
- Family members should not exit their vehicle to help students out. If extra help is needed, please park in the parking lot and walk your student to the building
- Do not stop in the crosswalk
- Handicap spots should only be used for vehicles that are displaying a permit. They are not to be used to drop off or pick up students unless you have a permit displayed.
Thank you for practicing patience and following these guidelines during these busy times of our day.
