Keeping Track of How and When School Is Happening

Marie Murphy will continue to utilize a remote schedule upon our return from Winter Break beginning Monday, January 4 through Friday, January 15. This will allow any families that traveled and/or hosted out-of-town family during winter break to quarantine for a safe number of days before returning to school.


Even though your child will be learning remotely, we do ask that if your child is sick and/or experiencing Covid symptoms and will be absent from remote lessons, please call the main office to report the absence. Having this information helps us monitor the health of our school community as well as saves you a phone call from the MM office.

Upon concluding our remote learning schedule on Friday, January 15, Marie Murphy will return to our hybrid schedule on Tuesday, January 19 (there is no school in observance of MLK Day on Monday, January 18). Families that have opted for their child to be educated remotely will remain remote, just following our traditional hybrid schedule.


There are minor changes to the Monday schedule - we will keep the 8:30 start time, the 30-minute advisory, and the 40-minute lunch that we have utilized since Monday, December 7. Simply put, the Monday schedule that was put in place as part of the remote learning window is better than the Monday schedule we were using in September, October, & November, so we are keeping the better one in place.

Hopefully, the schedules above help you keep track of what classes are happening on which days and in which setting Of course, If anything is confusing, please don't hesitate to call the MM Main Office. We will be open again beginning on Monday, January 4.

End of Semester 1 Timeline

As we near the end of the second semester, we wanted you to be aware of what important dates and communications will be coming.


  • Friday, January 15: Second Quarter/Semester 1 Ends
  • Tuesday, January 19: 3rd Quarter/Second Semester Begins
  • Tuesday, January 19: Students begin their two new Allied Arts classes
  • Monday, January 25: Semester 1 Report Cards and Teacher Comments can be accessed via PowerSchool. Email communication will be sent to parents informing them how to access this information.
  • Week of January 25 - Marie Murphy will mail home Semester 1 report cards this week.
