Our Little Einsteins
Jr. Kindergarten Friday Wrap-up
To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science. - Albert Einstein
"Read Across America"
The little Einsteins had a blast yesterday showing off their favorite book character costumes as we continue to celebrate "Read Across America".
Science Experiment
The Science Fair is just around the corner and we are going to be participating as a class. The little Einsteins proved to be awesome inquisitive scientists as they participated in their first science experiment this week.
Blending to Read and Write
As we experiment with sounds and words, we focused on initial blends “fl” and “sl”. They copied words, played detective as we spotted “fl” & “sl” words after listening to Letter Buddies: Fly on a Flower.
Reminders to Remember
- Open House: Tomorrow is the summer camp open house ( 10:00AM-1:00PM). This would a good opportunity to meet our kindergarten staff and learn about the kindergarten program. You also get to see your child's art work displayed during the art showcase.
- Field Trip: Tuesday, March 24th is JK's field trip to the Cascades Library. Please dress your child in his/ her red field shirt day. If your child doesn't have a field shirt, make sure that you get one by the end of today.
