Chromebook Reminders

Each year a student attends Gateway there is an annual $25 user fee collected to help mitigate maintenance and repair costs. This fee provides each student with a Chromebook, Chromebook cover, and charger. It also covers the cost of repairs to devices that are defective, as well as the first 2 instances of damage that is determined to be accidental.

The payment can be made here by clicking this link: Chromebook Annual User Fee

(Please note: This fee is paid through the MySchoolBucks platform. You may have to create an account if you don’t already have one. Also, there are NO ADDED FEES to make Chromebook payments through this site.)

Gateway Open House

This year, we are planning to hold an Open House/Back to School Night for middle and high school. Instead of formal presentations, you will have a chance to meet your child's teachers and visit classrooms at your own pace. The event will be held Thursday, September 29th.

The GRHS Student Council is trying to determine possible needs for babysitting during our Open House. Please complete and submit the attached form.

Gator Fitness Club

The Gator Fitness Club will start off the year with a 100 mile challenge from September 15- November 6th. Finish the challenge by joining us on November 6th for the 2022 Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge Event: In-person 10K Run, Virtual 10K Run, In-person 2 Mile Walk, Virtual 2 Mile Walk, and the Kids Dash. Full information can be found by clicking here.

Early Signouts

Parents/Guardians, please remember to send in a note if students are being signed out early for appointments. We do issue an E-hallpass appointment pass ahead of time once we know, so we are not disrupting a classroom when parents come in to sign out their child for an appointment.

Book Club Fundraiser

The Gateway Book Club is starting their community service project next week; the kids will be going to all the homerooms over the next two weeks, to collect spare change for PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (

STOPit gives our students a private place to report things that are going on with them or things they see in our schools. We look at this program as a reporting tool, not just anti-bullying.
