Opportunities to Grow Your Professional Knowledge & Skills

Librarian Appraisal - Campus Leader Role

Please review some of the following opportunities to present your professional knowledge and skills.

While there were many wonderful sessions at TLA 2015, my thoughts were that NEISD librarians are "already doing that" and my question was, "Why aren't they presenting?"

TLA

It’s already time to start planning for the 2016 Conference. The Texas Association of School Librarians invites all interested members to submit conference program proposals. The 2016 TLA Conference will be held in Houston, April 19-22, 2016. The 103rd conference theme is Open Libraries- Open Opportunities.

Please complete this form below to submit your proposal to Renee Dyer (rdyer@wisd.us) by May 8, 2015. You will be notified of your acceptance status by July 31, 2015.

CRMS Library Materials Pick-up (Reposted)

The CRMS Manager requests that books and other media be packed in separate boxes for pick-up. The vendor is now charging NEISD to process boxes that have mixed media (books and other materials).

Please send separate forms when requesting pickup; one form for books, another for all other media (tapes, DVDs, etc). Indicate the type of media in the comment section of the form.
