Saluda Trail Wildcats
March 26, 2023
Principal's Corner
Good evening STMS Families,
We experienced a fun and exciting week at STMS. We welcomed rising sixth graders, all students participated in an engaging presentation with Dr. Keith Wilks (Assistant Superintendent of Support Services) on decision making, our Wildcat Band made history, we celebrated students at our quarterly Wildcat celebration, and many of our eighth grade students did an outstanding job at the National History Day Regional competition hosted at Winthrop University. As a reminder, we will begin Spring break, April 3- April 7, 2023 and Rock Hill Schools will be closed.
As we continue to celebrate Women's History Month, I would like to take a moment and honor all of the women I have the privilege of serving students with on a daily basis. Each day STMS female faculty and staff members create a warm and welcoming environment for our students. These courageous women ensure all students receive instruction, encounter a clean environment, are welcomed with smiling faces, receive nutritious meals, and are cared for with love. While I may be the principal at STMS, our wonderful female faculty and staff members truly run “The Trail!” Enjoy the special presentation made by students in Mrs. Dantzler's Digital Media Arts and Photography class. Let’s have another great week.
Respectfully,
Dr. Marek Marshall
Principal
