ABOUT THE PROJECT
Children learn topics that interest them more easily. To make it interesting and fun, we will celebrate the Day of European Languages using the book The Little Prince, a World Classic. Our students will be able to make original works with their own language while discovering similarities and differences between languages.

Before starting the project ,I gave some information to the parents about our project and safer internet ,then I gave them some sheets of permission paper to sign,so they will let their children join the project,use the internet consciously and show their children's photos in the project.

CHATTERPIX
My students used chatterpix to introduce themselves in English.Before doing this activity I sent them a video how to use chatterpix.At school they drew their pictures and at home with the help of their parents they recorded their voice and spoke in English.It gave them to be courageous becauase they didn't show their faces and and they removed the video if they didn't like it.And also they they learnt a new web2.0 tool.

USING TWINSPACE
I also chose some students work in Twinspace.We contacted with the students using whats app.I sent them their passwords and usernames and how to log on to the website.I also show them our project page at school.With the help of their parents they learnt to use twinspace and joined the activities there.And ın this photo,one of my students (Kerem) was trying to write a message in Twinspace.
Unplugged Coding Activities duruing the lesson
While the students are learning instruction ,they learnt how how to direct somebody.In this activity first of all we drew some lines on the ground.Then drew a path on the white board how to escape from the maze.We chose a student to obey the rules and do what we command him.All the students give him directions to go out of the maze and finally the result was successful.With this activity students tried to understand the logic of coding.

Our notice board in the English Classroom
My students created a noticeboard about our project.They changed the pictures when we finished the activities.In our school this classroom is being used commonly.We always have English classes here,so other students also come and have a chance to see our work here.
We also have another project notice board in one of the school corridors.

As a first activity my pupils drew pictures of Little Prince and coloured them.They wrote a dialogue about our first topic in the book.They were very excited because we started a new project and they would read the book "Little Prince".

DUOLİNGO TINYCARDS NATIONALITIES WITH THE LITTLE PRINCE
I prepared a duolingo tinycards game using the flags and the cover of the Little Prince book in different languages.Students will match the correct cover of book with the correct flags.My students enjoyed playing this game.They practised the names of the countries better and learned the flags easily.Besides our project partners played this game in their country,too.

This project is done with the class 4-I at Huseyin pehlivan Primary School.They both read the book "Little Prince" and had English lessons according the syllabus.The project was very informative and enjoyable.The pupils learned many words in other languages ,too.

WHILE THEY ARE READING THE BOOK LITTLE PRINCE DURING THE BREAK
USING CHATTERPIX
My students used chatterpix to introduce themselves.Firstly,they wrote some sentencesand drew their pictures ,we corrected their mistakes at school.They made a rehearsal ,and then I send a tutorial about how to use chatterpix.By the way, we created a whatsapp group to write contact easily with the students and parents.They uploaded their drawings and recorded their voice.They enjoed using this tool.

ONLINE MEETING WITH TEACHERS
We evaluated the project with the partners at the project.I translated the sentences for my Turkish partners.
ONLINE MEETING WITH STUDENTS
Our students prepared little prince masks and crowns before the online meeting with their friends.They were very excited and happy before and after the meeting.They met their partners in the project and tried to speak English.It was an unforgettable moments for them.After the online meeting,we role-played the dialogues in the book with the little prince characters.
COLLABORATIVE NEW YEAR CARDS ON JAMBOARD
Before the new year we wrote our wishes on jamboard with all the partners in the project.This was a mixed country team work.One student from each country was chosen to work in the groups.Forexample One of the team's name was "Fox";all the pupils in this group worked on getting related information about the Fox character.They prepared posters,pictures,some writings and put all these documents on the forum section.So students both got to know each other better and understood the book well.They learned to work as a group.Then each group learned to use jamboard and wote their wishes there.We used jamboard in the classroom.They lined up and write sth there,at the same time read their friend's writings,too.They interacted at the same time with their foreign friends.It was a great activity.

MAKING ORIGAMI WITH THE LITTLE PRINCE
This activity was also wonderful for my students.Before starting the origami ,we watched the tutorial about how to make a little prince origami.We used coloured papers and scissors for this activity.They helped eachother while making the origami.It teaches geometry,thinking skills,problem soving and fun science.With this activity they also practised the "Imperatives".They were very proud when they saw their masterpieces.We hang their work on our noticeboards.

Watching the movie "Little Prince" during the lesson.
At the end of the first term,we watched the movie together.It was in English ,so it helped to improve their listening skills,and also it helped them to understand the book better.It was an enjoyable activity, too.

The Evaluation of the project in terms of students
My students evaluated the project after finishing the last activity "What's in that hat?"They tried to say one or two sentences in English.They all loved the project and happy to be part of it.Their parents also evaluated the project using padlet.They all said it was a perfect project.They even learnt very good messages from the book.They also read the book with their children.It helped students to improve their English.The lessons with the activities were great.They were glad to meet eTwinning.

Reading Chapters in The book "Lİttle Prince"
As a common product ,each country read one chapter from the book in their language.So every country joined this activity and a very good work came out.My students read chapter four.They read it paragraph by paragraph .

Students prepared the hat in the book and drew their dreams in it.The ideas very different and very beautiful.It was a perfect activity for them,too.
