Texas Performance Standards Projects (T.P.S.P.)

The past several weeks have been dedicated to our major T.P.S.P. projects for 3rd and 4th grades. On December 8th, we had our showcase and I am always amazed at how clever and professional some of our projects are. I have included a few examples below. I wish I had room for more!

T.P.S.P. is a great way to help students learn how to conduct research, dig deeper, and is available for students to participate in all the way through high school. We are on the right track!

Weekend Field Trip

I would love the opportunity to have a weekend field trip for my gifted classes and was hoping to find some ideas from parents about where you'd like to go. If you know of a great learning opportunity, please let me know. I'd love to get behind the scenes and see something gifted students (and parents) would enjoy.

Photography Club Picnic

3rd and 4th grade students who participated in photography club got to practice what they learned this past Saturday at Breckinridge Park. We had a lot of fun and took many great pictures.

Thanks to Mr. Grimes and Ms. Moore for helping out!
