Start Time Reminders
At 9:00 a.m. each day all students should be in their classroom with their personal materials put away, and be ready to learn.
Because drop off can be unpredictable on any given day due to weather, street traffic, or the number of parents arriving at the same time, please account for additional traffic in our front circle to ensure you allow enough time for your student to be in their classroom seat by 9:00 a.m.
To this end, we respectfully remind families that they will be required to sign their child in after the doors lock at 9:00 a.m. (We appreciate your continued respectful collaboration in this regard.)
Half Day Book Award
Students are challenged to read and evaluate as many books from a select list. Students who have read or heard and evaluated at least four books will be eligible to vote. For more information about how the Bluestem Award works, please visit Mrs. Lathrop's website page.
