All students are expected to follow the WRE dress code as outlined in the parent-student handbook. We are excited about our five days of holiday fun!
Dear RISD Parent,
Every parent has a voice in Richardson ISD’s ongoing pursuit of excellence for students. Today I am asking for your feedback about the individual school your child attends. Please share your thoughts about critical school issues such as academic preparation, student support, parent engagement, safety and behavior, special programs, school and district operations, and school leadership.
This survey will take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. All answers are strictly confidential, so please feel free to respond honestly. Survey responses will never be used to identify individuals. After the survey closes, we will report the aggregate findings to our Board of Trustees and the RISD community.
If you have students at multiple schools and would like to complete the survey for each child, you may use the same survey link to complete the survey again.
Thank you for your time and thoughtful participation. Engaging in an ongoing two-way dialogue is critical as we work together to provide our students with an education that challenges them and appropriately meets their needs.

Thank you for taking the time to participate.

Winter Holiday Parties
Winter Parties’ Start Times:
12/17 - Kinder @ 1:15
12/18 - 1st & 2nd @ 2:15; 3rd-5th @ 2:00; 6th @ 1:45
Please make sure you submit your name to your child's teacher so you can have a pre-printed ID tag. You will still need your driver's license to receive your printed ID tag. If you arrive prior to the classroom party start time you will not be allowed to enter the building.
Siblings cannot attend other siblings classroom parties. We cannot accommodate additional siblings being in the rooms with the full class sizes and the teachers having a set amount of things for their specific students.
If you would like to check your child out at the conclusion of your child's holiday party you can do so, but you will need to exit the building after you have checked them out with the classroom teacher or the front office.
Congratulations to Ron Crawford! He has been nominated for the STARS teaching award (Superior Teaching Achievements in RISD) and has made it to the final round. Please congratulate him when you see him and wish him luck as he prepares for the last round.
