Second Years
Ready? Fight! Change the Game is off to an exciting start! The Second Years had a great trip to the National Videogame Museum in Frisco, Texas. Learners were able to see the evolution of video games through many different exhibits. One of the most popular spots at the Museum, to no one’s surprise was the coin arcade, where learners spent time researching by playing games like Joust, Frogger, Street Fighter, and more.
Learners also spent time playing board games back at campus, developing their own games, and then playing their peers’ games. Learners then interviewed for specific roles and studios, of which they wanted to be a part. After the Thanksgiving break, learners reconvened with their guilds and hit the ground running. There are exciting times in store around Academy High, as Change the Game ramps up!
