February Edition
Updates
February saw some exciting events in the library. The 7th grade GT classes hosted a Chili Cook-off. Parents, teachers and students enjoyed tasting the different styles of chili, seeing the performances and enjoying each other's company. The Book Fair was a great success, the library made a nice profit and will purchase some new board games and reading incentives for the students. At the end of February, the library hosted Telpas testing. Thank you for being patient and understanding while the library was closed for three days. ELA classes enjoyed the "Speed Dating" activity, students had to find books based on certain criteria, and then rate the book from "in love to not my type." The activity exposed the students to various genres which supports the ELA TEKS.
