Milky Way you can't see the individual stars. THe Milky Way is 13.2 billions years old and consists of 300 billion stars.

The Andromeda galaxy just like the Milky Way galaxy is a spiral galaxy. It is almost 2.5 million light years from earth. The Andromeda galaxy is also known as the Messier or m31. It is 9 billion years old and ha 1 trillion stars.
Comparison
Some ways the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy are they both are galaxy's that consist of planets and stars. Another way they are alike is that they both alike is they are spiral galaxy's . One big difference is their sizes while the Andromeda is almost 222,000 light years across the Milky Way is only 100,000 light years across.
