***Please make sure your child brings a jacket everyday. Since the weather is going from hot to cold, we never know what it will be like at recess and I want to make sure your child has a coat if it is cold and we go outside.

***Student council will collect items for Children's Attention Home through December 12 (next Friday).
***Winter Dress UP Days!
Just in time for black Friday, here are our winter dress-up day themes. Feel free to let your students share in the fun. You can wear jeans on any day you participate. Our dates are Dec. 15-19.
Monday-Favorite ugly holiday sweater/t-shirt
Tuesday-Favorite childhood toy
Wednesday-Elf on the shelf (put on your elf hat and ears to bring in the season)
Thursday-Reindeer (dress like a reindeer-any reindeer attire will do)
Friday-Favorite winter pajamas

***Attention Parents - Please note the following dates
January 15 is a 1/2 day for ALL students. They will be dismissed at 11:00. There will be no challenger on that day.
January 16 is a teacher workday - no school for students.
January 19 is a holiday for all, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday.
If your children are wearing boots due to the cold weather, please remind them to bring sneakers for PE. We are jumping rope and need to be able to move safely in the gym. Also, a reminder that Jump Rope for Heart envelopes are due by December 5th.
There is no special event for JRFH. It will occur during PE classes the week of Dec 1-5.
