🐝Treats for Little Hornets
Yulee Primary School's PTO showered Yulee Primary School's Faculty and Staff with love, coffee, and doughnuts. It was such a special treat for everyone to have as they arrived at school!
Celebrating Certifications
These students, in Mrs. Emerson's Adinistrative Office Applications & Business Software class at Yulee High School, worked hard to obtain industry certifications in Microsoft Office 2016 Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word Expert, and Excel Expert. One way they celebrated their success was by hanging copies of their certificates on their classroom wall. Each student also gets a copy of their certificate for their "brag books". Congratulations!
Becoming the Moon 🌑
Rescue Readers Love to Read
Southside Elementary School's Rescue Readers held their first annual event at the Nassau Humane Society.
Mr. Price & Miss Grubby Toes
On February 14th, Callahan Elementary School celebrated Authors in Schools Day with the author, Eddie Price. Every student received an autographed copy of Little Miss Grubby Toes Steps on a Bee! Mr. Price read the book to students and then brought out Little Miss Grubby Toes to meet the kids. Students and teachers alike had a great time singing and learning about the importance of bees and listening to grownups to stay safe.

Double Authors for Bryceville
Bryceville Elementary School enjoyed two authors this year, Kimberly Cameron and John Allen, for the annual Authors in Schools event.
Valentines for Veterans 💌
Mrs. Jan Van Delinder, the coordinator for Valentines for Veterans' letters at Yulee High School, happily shared that the students wrote 176 letters and Valentine cards to Veterans in the VA hospital in Gainesville.
Literacy Adventures
Literacy Week at Yulee Elementary School was quite an adventure! Students and teachers enjoyed themed dress-up days and guest readers in the library and individual classrooms. A fun and exciting week of reading was had by all!
Storybook STEM
Callahan Elementary Faculty & Staff hosted a "Story Book Stem" Night. During the event students participated by listening to stories being read aloud by staff members. After students listened to the books, students engaged in a stem activity where they created, built and explored different science experiments.
