YVHS Warrior Newsletter
August 2019 Vol 2
Message from the Principal - Mr. Efa Huckaby
Greetings Warrior Families,
Thank you staff, parents, Link Crew, Leadership students and community members on a great registration for both days. We were able to register over 900 Warriors! Also, we are very excited to begin our new year on Thursday, August 15th with our Week of Welcome (WOW)! Our Warriors have the opportunity to build relationships with peers and staff though activities, workshops and getting familiar with the Warrior Way. On Friday, August 16th students will have the opportunity to meet community members from different resources, interact with peers while they learn about these programs. Here at YVHS, our goal is to have our Warriors BE READY, BE RESPONSIBLE, SHOW INTEGRITY, The Warrior Way!
Hope to see you next week!
