Chocolate Fundraiser
Parents, We still have the month of November left to sell chocolate. The profit made from this fundraiser will help fund school activities for this school year. Thank you so much for participating.
NHS Can Food Drive
There are thousands of families in Fort Worth who have to choose between paying bills and eating. You can help change this! It is time for the annual canned food drive. The National Honor Society asks for donations of canned foods and non-perishable items. NHS students will collect donated goods in our school cafeterias beginning Tuesday, November 3rd through November 20th. Thank you for your help.
Yearbook
Yearbook sales have now opened. Please visit us at www.yearbookordercenter.com. You may search for our school by job order #20612. Yearbooks start at just $25. We are also offering the new Yearbook Deluxe package. This package includes the yearbook, a dust jacket, a metal name plate, and the add-in activity pages for only $35. Senior Ads are also on sale with a full color page starting at only $100. We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing with you all the memories of the 15-16 school year.
Book Fair
1 in 4 children in America grow up without learning how to read. Let's prevent our students from becoming a statistic and encourage them to read by supporting our HSI Book fair starting December 7th and ending the 11th. Let's put an end to illiteracy one student at a time.
Holiday Drive
Our school is currently holding a holiday donation drive. Please donate any goods that could help a needy family including clothes, food, toys, and hygeine products. Please turn in any donations to the cafeteria or Mrs. Lea.
STAAR Testing
Students will be STAAR testing through Friday. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and a good breakfast. It is important that your student comes to school on time ready to test. The schedule is available on our website HERE. Thank you parents for your support.
The PTO meeting will be held immediately after the career day event!
