Harvest Festival this Friday 6pm-8pm
Come join us for this family fun event. Wear your costume and come ready to play carnival type games. There will be pizza, concessions, ice cream, and more. Carnival games are free. Food and other items will require cash purchases.
Tardy Bell Rings at 8am
As the weather changes we see more students arrive late to school. Predictable routines for both bedtime and wake up are one of the best ways to ensure your child has regular attendance. Some families find it helpful to have backpacks and jackets in the same location every day so they are easily accessible.

Candy Donations Contest
In preparation for the Harvest Festival, please donate individually wrapped candy. The PTSO will be tracking how much candy is donated. The K-2 and 3-5 class that donate the most candy will be rewarded with an ice cream party. This candy will be used at our Harvest Festival on October 25th.
Lost and Found
We keep a lost and found in our cafeteria. There are more jackets than we can fit on the rack currently. You and your child are welcome to look through the lost and found at any time. They will be donated to a local organization after conferences in November.
Volunteer
We hope you considering volunteering this school year. There are many opportunities to help; including attending a field trip, laminating certificates, reading with students, and much more. All volunteers are required to go through our background check process EVERY YEAR. This is free. All you need to do is complete the online form found here: http://ocsd62.org/volunteer
