French in Canada

French is one of the two official languages of Canada. Most of the French speakers are from Québec. The government in Québec is made the use of French involved in daily activities. Some people of Québec wanted to seperated themselves from all of Canada due to their cultural heritage, but their separation was rejected.

Spanish in The United States

Spanish has become increasingly important in the United States, because of the immigration from Latin America. In some areas government documents and advertisements are printed in Spanish. Many Americans have debated whether or not schools should offer bilingual education.
