Welcome back to a new FY with SWE. We are so excited to start out our new year with our Get to Know SWE event coming on September 28th. We will be meeting at Corkscrew Wine & Cheese in Rockbrook Village.
This is a great opportunity for you to come and check out our SWE section. Find out what we have in store for our section for this coming year. You do not need to be a member to attend. Bring a friend or a co-worker and let them see what SWE has to offer.
Check out our Annual Conference information also in this newsletter, as well as membership information. We look forward to getting you involved with SWE.

Plan to join us in Omaha at Corkscrew Wine & Cheese
Eastern Nebraska SWE is hosting a Get to Know SWE event at Corkscrew Wine & Cheese at Rockbrook Village in Omaha on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
This will be a fun social to reconnect with other members and supporters of this great organization. Please invite a co-worker or friend who may be interested in learning more about SWE. We welcome all visitors.
We will enjoy some drinks and appetizers while discussing plans for this coming year. We welcome you to bring ideas for tours, maybe the name of a speaker, or a topic that is of interest to you. We like to include both professional and personal development and Work/Life balance topics at our meetings. Some of our past events have included yoga, meal planning, painting class, technical writing, business etiquette, financial planning, just to name a few.
SWE is also very involved with STEM outreach. We will share all of our upcoming outreach opportunities.
There is NO COST to attend this event; however, we are asking you to please RSVP to help us with planning for seating and menu planning.
Please see the event details below for more information and to RSVP.
SWE will provide appetizers for this event but beverages will be on your own.
If you have any questions, please reach out to our President, Janis Pfingsten at president@SWE-Nebraska.org
Hope to see you at the FY24 SWE Social!
