Being On Time is So Important!
Don’t Be Tardy for the Party!
Attendance is THE most important factor for students’ success in school and beyond! Please help your kiddos come to school on time, every day. So many important things happen at the beginning of the day! Morning Announcements, for one thing. This is a time when Caring Cougar shout-outs, Happy Birthday wishes, the lunch menu, special events and more are communicated. Also, many lessons start first thing in the morning! Even being just a few minutes late is very disruptive to the whole class. Don’t let your children miss out! Remember we are here to help, so do not hesitate to ask.

Collier OMA Gold News
November
November is a busy month for the OMA program! We started off the month with a performance by the Ivesia dancers from Rincon/University High Schools. We are also learning about temporal visual art, and going on a field trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art.
- Preschool continues to focus on various themes such as numbers, animals, actions, body parts and dancing with partners.
- Kindergarten performed the story they wrote and are preparing for their winter movement performance.
- First grade is using visual art and verbs to reinforce subtraction.
- Second grade is preparing for their winter movement performance.
- Third grade has started learning to read music and play the recorder.
- The fourth and fifth grade combo class is using word problems and movement to explore multiplying fractions. Fourth grade is also preparing for their winter violin presentation.

Retake Picture Day and Class Pictures-November 8th
Retake Picture Day is 11/8/22! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required. We will also be taking the Class Pictures!
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, click here to go to the Inter-State Website and use the Retake Order Code 71109KF. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.
