Scholarship Opportunities - - March 2019
Family First - The Len Szumiloski Scholarship
This year's theme is F.I.R.S.T. - Family, Integrity, Relationships, Service and Trust. This scholarship is one of the Family First Federal Credit Union. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is March 15, 2019 or postmarked by March 13, 2019.

Section V Scholarship / Fall - Winter - Spring Sports
This scholarship requires a high school transcript, a high school activities resume, a letter of recommendation from the coach of the sport you are applying for, answers to two questions and the signature of the school's Athletic Director. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. There are three deadlines: Winter Sports deadline March 15, 2019; Spring Sports deadline June 1, 2019.
Food Service Scholarship
This is for students who plan on an education in the fields of food service, food service management, nutrition, or dietetics. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is March 18, 2019.
Webster Teachers' Association Scholarship
This application is for children of WTA members or seniors who will be pursuing a career in education. Applications are in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is March 21, 2019
Vincent Lombardi Lodge #2270
Applicants must be of Italian descent and live in and attend school in Monroe County. Preference is given to students associated with members of the lodge. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2019
2019 NY Grand Lodge Foundation Scholarship
Applicants must be of Italian descent and live in and attend school in Monroe County. Preference is given to students associated with members of the lodge. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2019
The Matthew R. Row Scholarship Foundation
This foundation gives educational scholarships to high school seniors in the WNY area who have lost a parent or guardian. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2019.
Hearing Loss Association of American
HLAA of Rochester has scholarships available to graduating seniors with hearing loss. Please use the link below to apply. Deadline to apply is April 5, 2019
NYSIR - New York Schools of Insurance Foundation
NYSIR offers three different scholarships:
The Cristin Ann Bambino - for a student who has worked through a special challenge.
The Paul Jensen - for a student who has demonstrated an inspired imagination and creative aesthetic.
The Joseph Goncalves Student Humanitarian - for a senior who is able to demonstrate involvement and work for a cause or organization that actively promotes social justice.
Each scholarship requires an essay to specific questions. Please pick up your application for complete directions in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is April 8, 2019.
Molly Efron Scholarship
The 2019 Molly Efron Technical Women's Scholarship presented the Women's Alliance of Xerox is available for female graduating high school seniors who are attending a STEM program at an accredited four-year college or university in the fall. Application information is available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is April 10, 2019.
Traveling Cabaret of Irondequoit
The Traveling Cabaret of Irondequoit will be awarding scholarships to college-bound high school seniors pursuing the arts upon graduation. The arts include but are not limited to, music, dance, drama, art, writing, technical and all other arts related areas. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is April 12, 2019.
AKOMA - African American Women's Gospel Choir
AKOMA is pleased to begin taking applicants for their Nona Patterson Chambers Merit Scholarship. Part of their mission is to provide educational, advisory and scholarship assistance to deserving college bound young African American women who will graduate in June of 2019. Applications are available in the Counseling Center. Deadline to apply is April 15, 2019.
